Nuclear carrots

This morning we picked the last of our carrot crop. And it was just as well because some of them had been left in the soil too long and had started to rot a little.

I think at this point we will declare our carrots a dud. Sure, they taste great, but they never grew properly - I suspect the decent soil doesn't go down far enough. Hmmm.

Anyhow, they are edible - so I am off to make a carrot and coriander dip (or soup?) before the bub wakes.
