OK, so I am typing this with one hand (seriously - the other is rocking the pram). Which means this will be a SHORT post! Little Miss T is 3 weeks old now, though it seems she's been around far longer - maybe because I can't imagine life without her ... or possibly because I have spent a disproportionate amount of the past 3 weeks AWAKE!
E never did, but this bub is the queen of the cluster feed. Oh lordy, it's wearing. Every day she wakes late in the afternoon or early evening. She feeds, she naps (lightly - for a few minutes) then she wakes and whinges. Demands another feed ... and so it goes on! This can continue for up to 5 hours (though usually more like 3). The kid is draining me (quite literally!). I fall into bed at about 8.30 or 9 - whatever time she finally conks it - exhausted.
I know this phase should only last a couple more weeks (oh please!), so I have to shrug my shoulders and go with it ... because there's not much I can do about it anyway. The excellent news is that T is gaining a heap of weight - she put on half a kilo in 2 weeks! Glad all that milk is going somewhere...

Its really hard those first few months when you are so needed by the new baby but also by the rest of the family. Take care of yourself and go easy, it does get better!
I love that top photo!
*snap*
My girl is draining me too! I agree with Sarah's comment above mine - it is hard to keep up the demands of all family members; especially when you have another young child. I don't know how other people cope with more than 2! *heehee*
We're going along okay; even if it feels like I am constantly feeding. I don't know about you but I find I am not so uptight about breastfeeding like I was with Monet. Give me another week and I might just change my mind. *heehee*
Can you believe our girls will be a month old next week?? Shite.
